Janette L. Davis has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 18 years. Janette L Davis is the owner of Janette L. Davis, CPA, LLC and Southeast American Financial Group, Inc. Janette began her firms in 2004 & 2007 and prior to that she spent 20 years in the South Florida Banking industry. She is a Certified Advisor for the Organization for Entrepreneurial Development’s local Business Assistance Program. She is also a former Senior Executive Banker whose roles included responsibility for the strategic development, direction and execution of successful initiatives for Barnett Bank, Bank of America & Bank United.

The firm specializes in working with small and medium sized businesses, non-profits, churches and individuals in the areas of management consulting, write ups, financial statement preparation, tax planning, income tax preparation, audit representation, income tax problem resolution, business incorporation, retirement and insurance planning.

Janette is very active in the community and has served on several non-profit boards. She is the Co-chair of the Scholarship program and has formerly served as Secretary of the American Women’s Society of CPA’s , South Florida Chapter. She is the Treasurer of the Jamaica USA Chamber of Commerce. Janette is a former President and Treasurer of the Dade County Chapter of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). She has served on the FICPA’s committees on Aging and Financial Literacy.

She has received several awards including the US Women’s Chamber of Commerce 2010 Advocate Award for the Economic Advancement of Women, and the National Association of Women Business Owner’s Fort Lauderdale Chapter Small Business Owner of the Year award ,  Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountant’s Outstanding CPA in Business and Industry Award the NAACP Hall of Fame Award.

Janette obtained her Bachelor and a Masters Degree from Barry University.
